I know your feeling like your Lost You think you've drifted Way to Far Did you know these Colors that your shining Are
Christianne The chain of command to follow was a simple one. The Queen of Ice, her General Saeryn the wolf, her Captain Dagg'or of Telmar, the sly witch Mirasia and then the minions. But where in this chain of command did this young girl fit in. Sure she was aware f a war that was coming and granted she was very very good at torturing and yet she wasn't sure where she fit in, if at all. " Maybe I'm just a pawn in her checkered game of red and white..." she muttered softly hoping that being far from the castle her mistress did not hear. Her mistress... she scoffed. For just how many years had she been taught and trained to call a block of ice just that. Looking back at the path she had taken she bit her lip and began to tie her hair up in a pony tail. She needed a clear mind and a healthy dose of courage to do what must be done. Kill... Maim... and torture any and all that survived. As a child she was taught well and yet as a mere teenager she is now beginning to doubt all she was told. Did her father truly want this life for her. It would make no sense... with Celest gone once more and Lyanne possibly crippled and hidden from the battlements was she the one to go out to war at this tender age and risk her life for one who would not so much as blink should she fall? Gulping slightly at the thought she made her way towards a clearing. She had never truly ventured this far from her home. Sighing she shook her head. Was that truly her home or more so a training camp. Placing her face in her delicate hands the young gild did her best not to weep. Sure she was alone but truly for how long will she remain so... ooc// Sorry for the shortness it's been a while.[/blockquote]

Less than ten years had passed and more was happening to Caspian than anything in his childhood. He'd been chased from his home twice, lived on an island in exile, and now for the first time in a while, he was back. Caspian suspected his old castle now had minions of the White Witch occupying it, so he dared not go back there. For now, the King shared a camp space with other telmarines who joined him in going back. They would not be staying long; it was a trip to find any who wanted to join them in safety on the Telmar isle.
Going against the wishes of the men in his camp, Caspian wished to see the woods of Narnia once again. Rather bringing a guard, the telmarine bought one of the camp hounds with him; one of many they had taken from the island. Being it wasn't from Narnia, the mongrel was silent, but he still had his bark if anything was nearby Caspian couldn't see or hear.
No matter if they had snow or summer leaves, Narnia was always a beautiful place. It was like that picturesque piece of art that looked like a fantasy land, escape Caspian had stepped into that paint like the way Lucy had come in through the wardrobe. But that "painting" was no fantasy land.
Caspian lost track of time walking through the woods, when the mutt let out a bark and took off. There wasn't anything in sight, so the dog must have sensed something hiding. In order to make sure it didn't do anything foolish, the telmarine quickly followed after the mutt. The dog ran into a clearing and bought the the man to a girl. Before the mutt could touch the girl, Caspian commanded him to stay. The dogs ears drooped and he returned to the mans side. The hound probably wouldn't have done anything more than jump on the girl and lick her face, but some people didn't like dogs.
Caspian walked up to the girl and said, "Sorry if my dog frightened you. I should have been keeping a closer eye on the mongrel."

» CAN YOU FEEL IT CRUSH YOU?DOES IT SEEM TO BRING THE WORSE IN YOU OUT? SURELY NOT THE BEST COLORS THAT YOU SHINE
She'd been sitting on the boulder for so long her legs had begun to feel rather numb. Just as herself felt numb... she wondered if that was how it started. With a numbness of the bones until you became another stone statue in the garden of ice and snow. Thankfully it wasn't snowing but it was still cold and the clothes she wore gave little heat to the conditions that surrounded her. She was sure she had grown accustomed the the cold surrounding her, so much sure that she felt as though she would not recognize warmth if it came up and slapped her in her pale face.
Her eyes looked rather shiny, a clear contrast as to how the rest of her looked. Stoic and poised as a statue. The slow tears had fallen down her cheeks and she slowly took her hands to cover her face. If anyone happen to fall upon her she would not want them to see her crying. The minions are not allowed to cry, nor weep, nor smile nor feel anything. They were barely allowed to live as is.
As she continued to sit her in her torrid trance she had not noticed anyone approach until she heard the bark of a dog. Her eyes widened in surprise as the dog ran towards her. He couldn't get up the boulder, or at least she imagined he couldn't and quickly wiped her tears away. Curiosity clear in her gray eyes as to who the mongrel could belong to. She hardly saw dogs that wouldn't attack and this one seemed to be rather fond of barking not so much growling and snapping it's jaws at her.
Tilting her head a bit a few stray locks of brunette hair fail over her eyes for only a moment before she moved them away. Just as she did so a voice joined her and she could not help but quickly look up a bit startled by the man before her. "Sorry if my dog frightened you. I should have been keeping a closer eye on the mongrel." Blinking slightly she thought she recognized the face. The voice not so much but the face had to be recognizable, after all the queen horses and men had to know who their intended targets were. "He did not scare me... but you did."she said simply, staying on her boulder and simply watching him. "You... are not supposed to be here..." she added as an after thought.

Caspian's attention was so drawn to keeping his hound's dirty paws off the maiden that he failed to recognize where he was. After the dog was appeased, the telmarine's eyes scanned the wondrous scope of the Wood between the Worlds. The King had heard of this place, though he could honestly say he'd never ventured here. Perhaps it was one of those things that you find when you aren't looking. This place was yet another mystery of Narnia Caspian had yet to uncover. There were certain things he knew, but the telmarine was unaware that Jadis's hideout was in this land. Well, it was before she lost the war.
The girl looked so sad, yet innocent at the same time. Her eyes told the story of a thorny past, with the face of a child who'd never known what was to be loved. Naive Caspian never thought it could be that; he assumed her to be just a girl taking a trip through the woods like himself. The dark clothes made the man a little suspicious, but he didn't think too much of someone by their apparel.
The King's suspicions rose a little from the looks the girl was giving him, as if she knew who he was. Caspian hadn't the slightest clue whom she was. but perhaps she had seen him somewhere in public before? The man didn't think she was from Telmar; he could have been wrong, but this girl looked so pale. Most telmarines had a dark skin tone, and the maiden looked as if she'd barely seen the sun at all. Perhaps it was just because Caspian was used to seeing the citizens of Telmar isle.
The King blinked a few times in surprise when she noted how he wasn't supposed to be in Narnia. "I..the wars over. It's safe for me here now."

She let her stormy gray eyes look away into the ocean of lavish greens and blues. Colors that she was not at all used to. It was strange to actually witness spring for the first time in her seventeen years of life and she found herself thinking back on a conversation she had with another royal. She could recall something about wild berries and how thin and pale he looked. She remembered wanting to help him and not knowing how and the the king spoke in a bit of a shocked tone and she was forced to listen and return to the reality of her situation.
"I..the wars over. It's safe for me here now."Shrugging her shoulders she pushed herself off the rock and stood straight. She wasn't tall though, not in the least. "Being safe is a relative term... and people who don't their way often get lost here..." her tone was soft and knowing. She was aware of people getting lost in the Woods between the worlds and often not finding their way. It was a tragedy she was aware of and was fortunate enough to have not had occur to her. Then again she was afraid of leaving the woods. After all she had been a minion of the witch, so she doubted she would be safe even if King Edmund remembered her.
"Are you on a hunt, h-highness?" she asked looking over him. It was true that Narnia was finally at peace but it didn't mean that she would be. By the way he looked at her she figured he didn't know who she was though everyone knew him and the royal four by name and looks alone. turning her eyes towards a flash of movement she almost smiled at what she saw. It was a butterfly, and her in her ways did not remember seeing one in a very long time so she moved her hand to try and touch it, weary of what would happen next.
