The Basics...
Name:Digory Kirke
Age: 61
Gender: Male
Race: Son of Adam – Old Narnians
Occupation: Professor
The Look...
Clothing Style: Digory is usually seen dressed in a suit and smart shoes and/or a dressing gown and slippers depending on the situation. As a boy he was usually seen dressed in grey long shorts, black plimsoles a white top and red jumper. The older he got the more up to date his clothes became but he never strayed from casual wear even as a full grown adult prefering dressing gown and slippers to suits and ties.
Overall Appearance:
As a boy he was described by polly as a scruffy school boy because he was always dirty and his hair scruffy. He was usually found climbing walls and getting into mischeif which was how he always came to have dirty clothes. (checked up on in book)
As the elderly Professor, he has shaggy white hair that grows over most of his face and head, and is a bit odd-looking; in Aslan's country, he has a golden beard that flows over his chest and a face full of widsom. (NarniaWeb)

The Personality...
Personality: (from my own P.O.V from watching L.W.W) He is a very kind and wise man who can be quite eccentric at times but he isnt crazy, he had his own experiences of Narnia having been there when it began and it makes him all the more wiser. He has a sort of teacher exterior which makes him look and act stern. In L.W.W his maid seemed quite afraid of him so prehaps he has a slight temper.
As a young boy he was like any active 12 year old, inquizative adventurous but also very caring and mature for his age.
Overall he was a good person who like Edmund learned alot from his time in Narnia and became a different person from then on.

The Past...
History: [Elaborate, be descriptive, at least 2 or 3 decent
sized paragraphs]
As a young boy in London, England, while his mother was ill, Digory befriended Polly Plummer. His unusual uncle Andrew Ketterley made magical rings that allowed its wearers to travel to other worlds (of completely different universes) by passing through the Wood Between the Worlds. Uncle Andrew first tricked Polly into trying on the ring. When she disapeared, Andrew blackmailed Digory to try to retrieve her with another ring. After passing through the Wood Between the World, Digory broke an enchantment in the surreal World of Charn, accidentally releasing its evil awoken empress Jadis (later the White Witch). Though she was weak in the Wood, Jadis managed to arrive with Digory and Polly back in London by the use of chain-magic. She caused commotion in the city after which Digory, Polly, Andrew, Jadis, and a cabby driver and his horse ended up in the newly born world of Narnia. While there, the world's creator, Aslan, sent Digory on a journey which allowed a magical tree The Tree of Protection to grow in Narnia, keeping Jadis from attacking Narnia for centuries and the fruit of which Digory used to heal his mother, Mabel. He then planted the core, which over many years grew into a magical tree back in his own world.
Decades afterwards, as the elderly Professor Kirke, his wardrobe became where the Pevensie children entered Narnia. The wardrobe was carved from the tree he had planted as a child, after it had been blown over in a storm. Professor Kirke was the first to believe young Lucy Pevensie's travels to Narnia, obviously recalling his adventure in the world. However, he never told the children why he believes Lucy, and the children may have never realized that he had been there, unless Aslan himself told them.
Later, during the Pevensies' many Narnian adventures, it is mentioned that Digory lost his fortune, which explains why Edmund Pevensie and Lucy are forced to stay with their cousin Eustace Scrubb when their parents go abroad, instead of the elderly professor.
He is present with the other Narnian visitors when King Tirian askes them for help. He suggestes that the only way to enter Narnia is to take the Magical Rings he and Polly took away from his uncle. Peter and Edmund are tasked to retrieve them when Digory, Polly, Eustace, Jill and Lucy will follow them by train. But the railway accident kills all of them and he enters Aslan's Country to live there forever as a young boy again.
