Clothing Style:
He wears long suit coats, often of darker shades. Benny wears slacks and dress shirts, accompanied by a vest and sometimes a bizarre tie. He's often found wearing a hat, although sometimes he leaves with out it.
Overall Appearance:
Benny is rather normal sized, standing at 6'0''. He weighs 157 pounds, and is rather skinny. He's honestly not muscular, for he was never into the image that was posed on anyone. He has a slightly chizzled jaw, that adds to his appearance. His eyes, a dark chestnut colour, and a medium/dark brown.
His complexion is rather clear, his skin quite pale. His lips are a pale pink shade, not really dark at all, which just makes him look unique, unlike other people, which makes him pleased.
Markings: He has a scar on his leg that gives him pain often.

The Personality...
Personality:
Benny acts quite childish, even though he is twenty one. He knows when he should be serious, although he still has those childish beliefs. As an author, he always tries to keep his minds open to unknown worlds or talking animals, which delights him to no end.
He can make almost anyone smile with his odd antics, no matter how much of a prude they can be. He's someone easy to make friends with and quite a gentleman. He hides his emotions rather well, not wanting to cause greif to people around him. He enjoys making people laugh and smile and takes pleasure in other people's happiness. He enjoys the smaller things in life, and not the extravagent ones. He always looks to the brighter side of life, which is what he feels the world should do more of.

The Past...
History:
Childhood;;
Benjamin was born the eldest child to Matthew and Carah Grainger. Matthew was a prominent lawyer in the area, and Carah a stay at home wife. She wished her children to have a highed education and her husband did as she requested.
As a child, Benny and his brothers were sent to some of the top schools in London. He was always called the "rowdy child" who always got into troubles. Benny found it hard to stay focused during class and he seemed to wander off almost too much. It wasn't that he was a bad student, but arithmetic and things always bored him. He only truly loved, and suceeded in Literature, where he could let his immagination soar.
His Sickness;;
Benny fell during a winter in London, he developed a cut on the back of his leg, which he figured would heal. He grew an infection which hospitalized him for almost a month. His fever almost claimed his life, however his life and leg was saved due to a surgery that left his leg unmoveable. He went through some therapy, but the movements of his leg was never fully re-established, however he can walk almost perfect if not for the limp.
Lovelife;;
They spent the majority of their years in a boarding school, Benny often in trouble for his slipping grades and immature actions. He was always in trouble, even if he didnt do anything wrong. Benny fell in love with a girl one year younger than himself, by the name of Melinda. This girl stole his heart from the ninth grade. He finally set up the courage to ask her to a dance in the twelth grade, only to get cut down. He felt heartbreak, but more so betrayal when he realized his younger brother had indeed stolen his love.
Inheritance;;
The offices of Grainger and Grainger was to be passed down to the men of the Grainger family. The heritage and legacy had been passed down from father to son for generations. It was to be passed down to the eldest of the family, Benny.
Benjamin never really wished to be tied down to the evil and scandalous ways of lawyers, although he hated to displease his father. Benny decided to pass on the offer to become his father's intern and later inherit the business and attended a school for journalism. His father was greatly displeased him, and cut his inheritance. Benny was not able to finish his course of study for he lost his funds for his schooling.
Always Innocent;;
Benny returned to London, however he was not able to return to his home. His father completely disowned him as a child and he moved to the lower parts of London. He got a job at a cafe waiting tables. He lives in an flat alone, however he is happy with his life. True, he is no longer sipping champegne and eating caviar, but he is happy with his life.
During his free times, Benny writes and sales manuscripts and plays. He enjoys writing and reading, and has quite a collection of books. His still childhood innocence and belief is what landed him in Narnia.
