The Look...

Clothing Style: Kate is very much a girl. She has been raised to live in and out of dresses, going from a simple cotton, to a more formal, to a nightgown. You will rarely ever find her in any form of breeches. She's twelve, so she has no interest in jewelry or earrings unless they have meaning to her. Still, you're more likely to find a chain of flowers draped around her neck then anything gold or silver. She approves of all colors excluding brown, black, and white.

Overall Appearance: Adair is still young, and hasn't grown into her body, so her long hair and framed face is the only outward inkling that she is a girl. Her hair goes to the middle of her back, and is a honey brown color. Because Adair is such a girly child, she combs it constantly, and it is rarely tangled or messy. She has a heart shaped face with almond eyes colored hazel blue. Even for being a child, she is slender for her age.

Markings: None. She has one or two beauty marks, but that is it.

The Personality...

Personality: Kate is a child who seems to observe more then she talks. She will not play in front of adults because she, even at twelve, is very concerned with what people think about her. She is a young scholar, and often speaks in words that most people twice her age wouldn't thoroughly understand. She is very introverted, but she does have a few younger friends she likes to play with and have fun with.

A typical day she is reading, studying, sketching, painting, or doing something with her hands or mind. Occasionally she plays with girls her age, but as she grows she becomes less and less interested in friends. Kate has just developed an interest in politics, and expects to shadow her cousin, King Raoul of Archenland, a lot to learn about becoming an Archenland diplomat.

Strengths: Patient, sincere, calm, very knowledgeable

Weaknesses: Shy, a bit standoffish, thinks a great deal about what others think about her. Perhaps a bit self absorbed.

Likes: Reading in the sunshine on the grass, playing music, and observing people at various parties.

Dislikes: People who are too nosy, anyone who talks down to her, and horses.


The Past...

History: Katherine was the second born child of Josephine and Edward Seton, who is the brother of King Raoul's mother. Josephine was a nymph whom Edward found while riding one day. He fell in love, and their whirlwind courtship ended a month later when they were married. Kate's brother, Arthur, was born nine months later, and eight years after that, Kate herself was born. She was raised by her mother and by various nursery maids.

Kate requested for her mother to start to hire tutors for her at the age of five, and has been enthusiastic about learning ever since. She has had very few friends over the years, and doesn't participate in any sports, so her tutors began to teach her more lady-like activities, such as sewing and music. Kate knows a few various languages of Narnia, and is becoming more and more fluent. She was kept away from the war of Narnia, having been raised in Archenland, so she knows little to nothing about the Witch or what happened.
