[H Y O R I] [Age] Status: OC
The Basics
Name: Hyori
Age: Because of the mutated genes of their race, despite the fact that Hyori looks around her early twenties, at least at the age of 21, she's really been around for 30 years.
Gender: Female
Race: Unknown race.
Occupation: Mischief Maker
The Look
Clothing Style: Hyori really doesn't bother dressing up. A simple leather pants and tunic and a pair of boots would do for her. But the girl DOES love to add color in her outfit, and often, a spalsh of red, golden, pink, or even green could be seen, perhaps in an overcoat, a simple twist of a bark belt, anything really, as long as the girl has her splash of color. And she usually lets her dark hazel hair down to her shoulder too, preferring not to tie it up.
Overall Appearance: Hyori's basic marking would be a cute, very impish look. Her large eyes coupled with pale complexion and dark hair makes the girl look much like an elf, or an imp, but its the sparkle in her eyes, the mischief in her twinkle and the dance in her step that makes people wonder if this girl was as innocent as she portray's.
As it is, the girl stands at a mere height, almost a head shorter then her twin, despite both of them supposedly conceived in the same womb. Like her brother though, Hyori has the same dark, almost black locks, and smooth skin type, despite Hyori's skin complexion being slightly lighter then her brother's. Their eyes are alike as well, with both being a dark hazel brown, bordering on the shade of black.
Markings: The only 'marking' Hyori would ever have would be her serpent. Her copperhead female serpent which she always has with her, the hazel lined with dark brown stripes copperhead serpent named Zuris, a trademark of the twins.

The Personality
Personality: With sweet looks and an even cuter desposition, Hyori is as cute as cute can get. Her eyes sparkle when she smiles, her laugh tinkles like a nightingales song, and her smile is contagious to all. Her steps are like the sweetest dance, and anyone who sees her will be captivated by her childlike innocence.
But that's all a mask. The only time you can be sure Hyori's real when she's acting like that is when she's with Jae Yu, for other then that, she's only trying to trick you, trying to goad you in to doing what she wants. Hyori is a master at two-timing and lying her way through everything, just because she wants to have some fun. The root of it all is simple. Hyori just wants to be entertained. But her way of entertainment is twisted. She likes human entertainment, she likes watching people get played around by herself and Jae Yu, like they are the players, and the rest are merely pieces of a chessboard, and thats the main reason why Hyori does as she does.
But other then that, Hyori is really a sweet girl. She loves her twin brother to no end, and would stand for nothing, and she means nothing against Jae Yu. Sure, Hyori pinches and rants at Jae Yu sometimes, but when it all boiled down to it, Hyori loves her twin brother dearly, and would let nothing harm him. Perhaps it is only in front of Jae Yu, that Hyori can laugh, can play, can be all she wants without the odd want to manipulate and control one person, all to her own entertainment. In fact, if anyone else were to harm a single pore on Jae Yu's head and body, Hyori would make sure the person regretted even being born on this planet.
Strengths: ` her element, fire and earth ` quick on her feet ` fights best near forests
Weaknesses: ` can't do phiscal combat to save her life ` relies only on her speed to run ` doesn't like enclosed spaces ` her family
Likes: ` all four elements ` swimming ` getting piggy-backed by Jae Yu ` reading ` running
Dislikes: ` her fun disrupted ` anyone annoying her and Jae Yu ` enclosed spaces ` annoying noises
The Past
History: On that fateful night of July the 13th, on one of the three Lone Islands, it was the entrance of two new babes in to the folds of the worlds. One came first, hair as dark as night, and all male. 5 minutes later, another followed suit, facial features alike, but this time, the babe was a female. Born to Hae Min and Yoo Su at close to the strike of midnight, the twins to this couple were named Hyori, and Jae Yu.
They grew up well enough, and the two were inseparable since birth, which made sense enough, since both are born twins after all. Sure enough, Hyori was always teased by her brother, but she still loved Jae Yu, because her brother was also the one who protected her from the bullies in the village they stayed. And as they grew up, the twins also learn how to control the elemental powers they had been born with. Hae Min and Yoo Su were both part of an ancient, long-forgotten race in Narnia, and each member of the race would come with a control over the elements, a power unique to their kind. And for Hyori, she gained the knowledge and control over fire, and earth.
And so the twins were taught, basics really at the tender age they were. But still, they were taught by their parents to exert control and exercise it over their powers, and slowly the two began to see how much they could do, and the extent they could reach.
Until one day, their parents dissapeared, without a trace. Hyori would've freaked, if not for Jae Yu's presence, but either way, as soon as their parents didn't return for a day and a night, the girl clung to her brother, and refused to leave his side. Sure, Hyori's always been more outgoing, but with the odd occurrence of their parents just vanishing off the face of Narnia, the girl suddenly wondered if Jae Yu too would just dissapear before her eyes. By then, the twins were merely at the verge of their 7th birthday, and to let two kids just to fend for themselves with no knowledge of what was too happen next was a little unsettling.
Be it because of her need to see her parents again, or only for closure however, Hyori pestered Jae Yu to find their parents, or at least try to. Being the more temperamental of the two, the first thing Hyori wanted to do was to flee to find their birth parents on her own two feet, but Jae Yu had more logical thinking. With her brother's persuading, the girl remained long enough for both twins to gather victuals remaining in the house, as well as taking their parents horses stabled next to the house, before starting on their way. They had no way of knowing their parents were dead after all, who could blame them?
And so they traveled, across the Lone Islands with whatever they have. Of course, the pair didn't really give much thought as to what would happen when their food and supplies eventually ran out. It did however, one fine day at least a week or so. Without food, and without water, they could hardly survive for long. Even with elemental powers, the twins could never conjure victuals out of thin air. And sure enough, the lack of food and water played its toll amongst them. Hyori had been adamant about not taking her brother's food, but apparently, stubbornness was a trait both the twins share. Jae Yu forced his own portion of food and water to his younger twin sister, and with dehydration taking the toll on his body, the boy soon fainted.
Hyori panicked, immediately. Of course, the petite girl who was at least half a head shorter then Jae Yu even by then, could hardly pick up her brother and get help. All she could do was just sit there, all the while pleading with whatever god she could remember to actually make the idiot wake up. Or at least that's what she stands by till this day. Luckily for both however, right at that time, an old man happened to pass by, and seeing Hyori's tear streaked face, the man immediately took pity on the two orphans, and proceeded to carrying the younger, unconscious boy to his nearby cottage, whilst Hyori trailed behind.
The old man was a kind one, pouring water through Jae Yu's dry lips, cleaning up after the sleeping twin, as well as providing Hyori with simple but serviceable clothing, as well as fresh food and water.
Much to Hyori's relief, her brother awoke not long after, and the old man whom by then had tended to Jae Yu for a long night, and had seen how obsolete their possessions were, allowed them to stay, and stay the twins did. They were at a mere age of 7, and out of kindheartedness, the old man taught the twins many things. Reading, writing, and basic stuff all children should know. But aside from that, the old man also allowed the two to play, to actually have fun for once without worrying about where they would go next or what would happen, as they had been doing for the past week or so.
And so there they remained, for a couple of months actually. Not only were they taught to be illiterate in words, but the old man being an old army soldier, taught them basic skills in fighting and strategy as well. But Hyori mostly tuned out during these lessons, having no interest in them, and instead, wanted to focus on enhancing her elemental powers.
But then tragedy struck them. One night, after a few months of them staying there, the old man fell asleep, and never woke up again, no matter how much they tried to wake him. Struck with death, and disappearance once again, the twins had little choice left. They repeated what they had done months earlier, collecting their belongings, more victuals as well as the horses, before continuing on their way. Whilst they travelled, the two trained their elemental powers viciously. More like Jae Yu would stay up training whilst the younger of the two fell asleep out of exhaustion, only to learn from her brother the next morning.
This time though, when they ran out of food and water, the twins were forced to resort to begging at the side of the streets for money to purchase more nutrients By then, both were desperate, until Jae Yu suddenly, quickly, came up with an idea. Hyori agreed to the plan whispered to her quickly, before both approached a nearby apple vendor.
In this, Hyori's innocent looks and angelic nature came to play. The girl put on an act, her dark eyes turning watery and acted starving, as she tried to worm her way for a free apple. Now, the twins had earlier viewed how the lady behind the stall was bitter, harsh, and literally a hag. But when Hyori, coupled with Jae Yu, played their willy charms on her, it wasn't too long before the twins walked away with two apples in each of their hands, and happily eating away.
The flourish of their success got to them however, and Hyori loved the feeling of adrenaline at successfully tricking someone to bend to her will, and that want turned to a form of entertainment to her, something that never went away despite the years.
Family: Hae Min - Mother Yoo Su - Father Jae Yu - Twin Brother
Other: As mentioned, Hyori has a snake, a copperhead serpent to be exact, named Zuris. But aside from that, Hyori is also a controller of elements. Two elements to be exact, which is fire, and earth. She was born with these powers, and though its not as great as to the extent that Hyori could actually create fire out of thin air, as long as the core of the element is there, she can manipulate it to do her bidding.
Final Outcome: Eh...? What was it again? I rmbred something in Thally, and Daphne's, and Daffy's and Lune's profile... *scratches head*
