"As I lay me down to sleep..... Life isn't the same anymore not,"
Queen Lucy shivered, her back aganist a wall. Her eyes were full of tears as she glanced around at the home. Once a welcoming and peaceful place, it had turned into a cold and unwelcoming in these troubled times. But to Lucy, the youngest of the Pevensies, it would always resemble a second home of sorts. And it would provide a hiding place for the little rebellion group she was trying to get sorted. But finding those people would be hard for her. It would be hard for everyone. Ever since the witch became queen of Narnia and her brothers were taken in the war, Lucy had been alone. She still didn't know what happend to Susan. The little Pevensie shivered as her eyes filled with tears. She blinked them away, promising herself that she would not cry. Lucy had to be strong for her brothers and sisters. But sometimes, it was hard. But she knew she had to remain strong.
She wrapped her arms around her small body, rocking back and forth slightly. Small? Heck, she was now sixteen years old. But she still appears small. She slowly rose to her feet, shaking slightly. She hated not being able to do nothing. She must do something! Lucy looked around at the small home. Her lips trembled. It had been a while since she fully cried. But she would not. Crying, Lucy had believed, was a sign of weakness. And she will be strong no matter what. "Fearless, you would be the little lioness,". She heard Aslan as if he was right there with her. She smiled at his nickname for her. And it was a nickname that was picked up by all. But right now, she felt as if she didn't deserve the nickname. She passed by a table. Lucy wandered what she looked like now. Her light brown hair was hanging past her shoulders now. There was sadness in her usually happy brown eyes. Her dress was of a darker blue this time around.
She must have looked horrible now. But then again, wartime does affect one's out take on life and appearances. Not to mention the stress and fear of releasing she will be captured someday. Lucy silently vowed never to let it happen. To many possibilities on what they would do to her. And with her being small and becoming a young woman...She shivered again, but only at that thought. She wandered what her brothers were going through...and if Susan was alright. Please Aslan, she silently prayed. Please please let us come through these troubled times. Please let my brothers live and please let my sister be alright. If anything, Lucy had placed much faith in Aslan, something that her siblings need to do. She was too busy lost in her own gloomly thoughts and stopping everynow and then to pray to Aslan for the health and safety of her siblings.

The cold outside was biting, but perhaps it was more so for the rebel members. It reminded them of what Narnia had became, of what had happened, and served as a cold present in a stark contrast to the what used to be warm past. What happened to the days where the fields were lush and green? Thalia remembered how she used to climb the tree's with her friends, just ride upon her stallion. In fact, she would even take those monotonous lessons back in Earlshire Manor. Anything would do, if she could go back to what was once before.
But all of those remained a dream, and a dream it will stay unless they could do something about it.
A little sigh escaped her lips as she released her stallion in to the small enclosure they had closed off for the horses remaining within the small batallion that was the rebellion, before taking off her gray cloak, which covered her simple brown dress, and framed by her hazel locks. She missed those days. Who wouldn't? Where she could once play without a care in the world, now she was forced to face the harsh reality that was life. The twinkle that used to be ever-present in her chocolate gaze, a light that glimmered with the impish delight that was a trademark of Thalia Earlshire now remained buried within a more hard glitter, one that is determined to win back what rightfully belonged to Narnia, their pride and freedom.
Hanging the cloak upon the row of hooks which where long cloaks designed to cover one's face if they ventured out hung. Thalia had headed out, as she always did in the early morning, just to give her prized stallion its daily exercise. But that was all it was. A simple run through the snowy fields and nothing else, unlike the days where she used to allow her horse to graze as she lay loose next to the pool in her clearing, those pastimes were all but distant memories now.
Her feet echoed as she headed up to rebellion headquarters, the main living room of Mr. Tumnus's home. Most of the rebellion stayed in the granite hollow they had found beneath the cellar of Mr. Tumnus's home, but the headquarters was a place where all meetings were held, and for some odd reason, Thalia wanted to seek out Lucy, just to see what the youngest Pevensie was doing. The lady felt for her. FOr the past two years, she could only imagine what was the girl going through, with both her brother's going through aslan-knows-what in the Ice Queen's fortress, as well as a sister lost in the wild. She had taken up co-leadership with Lucy, but only because she felt that a girl of such an age should not have to take on a huge responsibility. Queen she may be, but Lucy was still a 16 year old teenager, and could only handle so much, that Thalia understood.
Pushing open the door that emitted a soft glow from the light in the warm living room, her hazel brown eyes softened as the fell on the figure of the young Queen. If she could, Thalia would be willing to be the one in the Fortress, instead of Peter and Edmund. At least they would know what to do with Narnia. Thalia was merely going with the flow, and the main thing she wanted now was to find a way, any way, to get the two monarch's out of the entrapment they remained, in whichever way possible. If not for Narnia, then at least for Lucy. The young girl needed her brother's beside her.
"Lucy?" Thalia's soft voice whispered, within the name came with a question. Thalia more or less understood what Lucy was going through. But at least the girl knew her parents were dead, unlike Lucy, who had no idea what was going on with either of her siblings.

Bracing against the cold, bitter snow Rai pulled his cloak tighter around him. What had gone wrong?, the kings army defeated Peter suffering in the hands of the white witch with Edumund and other captives. Susan missing....Lucy and Thalia Rai knew were hiding in the place he was headed to Mr Tumnus' home. For the last two years Rai had been in hiding, hidden from the witch and her followers, he refused to be captured and killed. He had seen many of his friends either following the witch, in hiding or looking for a way to fight back. Glancing behind him he saw his 20 men following close behind, these men...had chosen to stay on Aslan's side...and decided to join Rai in finding the resistance and fighting back. Rai was proud of them, but he was also devastated at the loss of the others...there were 1000 men and more out there in hiding Rai would find them...one day.
Reaching the doorway he was filled with sadness, he felt badly for Lucy - he thought Lucy would still blame him...Rai and his men were supposed to protect jer and her siblings...how could he fail?.
Entering he let his 20 men in behind him and told them to wait, he moved further inside and sought out Lucy and Thally
"lucy? Thalia?" he asked softly

"Will everything go back To where it was before? Or shall we suffer the same fate As our lords and Those before us,"
She heard light footsteps and let out a small gasp, thinking of the many things that could go wrong at that single moment. She reached down for her small knife she always keep, wishing that she knew how to use other weapons. Lucy whirled around, her eyes falling on none other than Thalia. "Thalia?" she whimpered, her eyes filling up with fresh tears. She flunged herself at the other woman, wrapping her arms around her. She buried her head in her dress and burst into tears. It was alright, Lucy supposed, to cry every once in a while. But she was afraid. Afraid that she would show weakness. She withdrew after a while, looking at the other woman with a tear streaked face. "Any word?" her voice was none above than a whisper. "Any word that we might find them?"
Her voice was quivering and her eyes filled with fresh tears again. She stiffened, her eyes widen in terror as she heard another pair of footsteps. She whirled around, only to find Rai. "Rai," she bounded to him, hugging him the same manner as she did Thalia. She repeated the question she had asked the other woman, "Any word from them?" Lucy looked up at the man's face. Her eyes searching the other's face. She finally withdrew after hugging him one last time. She turned back to were she came. There was a troubled look in her eyes, along with a fresh sparkle of determination to get her siblings together once more. She turned around and suddenly slammed her fists onto one of the tables. "I should have gone with them," the little Pevensie whimpered. "They don't deserve this. None of Narnia does,"
Lucy slid down the table, her legs wrapped up to her chest. Her thoughts on her siblings. As another thought occured, she snapped her head up. "Any word on Matthew?" she asked. "He was suppose to be helping them as well. Not unless his brother got to him," she was generally worried about everyone and will do almost anything to make them safe. "What about Abigail and David? And Akira?" she knew they could hold themselves strong. There was a sudden scuffle at the door. Lucy gasped. "David! David be quite!" came a girl's tone. Abigail and David Innes rushed in, looking disheleved and messy. The boy's emerald green eyes moved around the room. "We....someone told us the rebels were holding forces in here......". At this point David paused. Abigail continued, "We want to help. Father's not back yet and mother's generally worried,"
There was a smile on Lucy's face. "Of course," she said gently. "We need all the help we can get. We must stop her before she does anything worse to the others." Lucy's eyes still held that troubled look in them. She frowned, thinking something through. Then she shook her head. She would get in trouble with Peter when....if they ever see each other. Her eyes filled with tears again.

Rai allowed Lucy to hug him, he felt his fears strengthen but he quelled them "M'lady" he said softly as she let go of him "I have heard no word but I do know this...we will get them back" he paused as two people entered he gave them a nod then looked behind them he gave a nod and two of them came forward
"Your majesty...myself...and my comrades...wish to join you ...General Ruben...and the rest of the resistance...we will do everything we can...to get your family back" said the first man.
Rai looked to Lucy "I want to undo the wrong...I let you all down when I failed to protect Peter and Edmund...and your sister Susan...I want to find them"

The sudden hug that had came from Lucy caught Thalia by surprised, yet the lady couldn't say she was that shocked. Lucy was going through a tough time, and really, the girl was only sixteen, how much could you expect from such a young maiden? Thalia's hands instinctively went up to stroke Lucy's caramel locks as the girl hugged her torso, suppressing the need to bawl like a baby herself. Thalia hadn't cried in ages, ever since the war ended. She refused to. It was a waste of time in her opinion, yet she knew Lucy needed the release in the form of crying, and all Thalia did was murmur soft, soothing words as the girl teared.
When Lucy asked the question however, Thalia sighed, letting gold eyes meet the young Queen's, before shaking her head dejectedly. She hated giving the same news over and over again to Lucy, but there was really nothing much she could do. Thoughts of infiltrating the Fortress and see what she could find was almost shot down immediately, merely because she couldn't afford to be caught. Not when Lucy was all alone.
When she heard another pair of footsteps come up, Thalia almost wished she had her blade with her, of which was currently hanging on a hook below, when Rai made his presence known. Relief was clearly shown on Thalia's face, but her features immediately turned as expectant as Lucy's when the younger female asked the question, only to be met with dissapointment once more.
Golden orbs followed Lucy as she walked, and Thalia wanted to groan when she heard her words as she spoke. "Lucy, if you went with them, Narnia would be lost. At least now, you can do something, even if it is just trying to trace wherever they may be." Thalia tried to reason, but knew Lucy needed to put the blame on someone, and was just piling i t all on herself. It was a typical reaction really, but Thalia still felt partially responsible. "No one deserves this, Narnia especially. But now its up to you to change it."
When Lucy started a barrage of questions again, Thalia was about to shake her head again, not having any luck on finding anyone actually, when the door opened again, and two rather scruffy looking kids ran in, both she didn't really recognize, until Lucy spoke, did she recognize them to be the Innes children.
Lucy seemed softer when she spoke to them, and in return, Thalia too, smiled as well. She was worried, at two more younger children joining the forces, but she recognized their want to actually do something, and she knew wild mustangs wouldn't be able to stop them, and really, the only thing she could do was make sure they didn't try anything too rash.
Walking up to Lucy again when she saw the young Queen's eyes turned misty, Thalia placed a hand around her small shoulders, and rubbed them as she spoke. "First thing we need to do is actually get your brothers and sister here, alright? We need the Pevensies together if we're actually to try anything." the lady tried to reassure the younger girl, before finally turning to Rai. "Any idea on where the other three Sovereigns are? The least we could do is get them here first. Peter will have a plan by then."Or at least I hope he does. Thalia refused to think that Peter, or any other of the siblings are dead actually. They couldn't be. [/blockquote]

R I L A R ;;Rilar seemed to be a born Pevensie tracker. First Peter, who had been almost handed to the Witch on a silver platter, now the littlest. He couldn't take credit for Edmund's capturing, but once he had Lucy he would take Susan's. He stalked silently through the woods, his powerful nostrils inhaling the scent of the youngest girl. Bright golden eyes studied the path before him, and he started to salivate with pleasure. What made this even more of an enjoyable experience was knowing that he didn't have to try to cart Lucy back with him unless he found it worthwhile... he could simply sink his teeth into her pretty neck and call it good.
He wasn't sure what he would do... clench his jaws on her wrist and drag her back, or finish her quickly... or make her suffer. The latter was the most appealing, but Rilar had gotten in his share of torture with the girl's eldest brother. His tail wagged freely at the memories, and he started to move forward towards the Lamp Post again.
She wasn't alone, which was a pity. Rilar remained hidden behind a grove of trees, listening with his keen ears and smelling all that was around him. His jaws rose when Thalia said Peter would surely have a plan by then, and he was unable to stop himself from shaking his head. By the time this little group, composed of a mere girl, a young woman and some ragged man, reached either of the Kings, they would be dead... or at least unable to speak. Rilar contemplated talking to Dagg'or about removing the King's tongues, and then refocused on his task.
Two children came running, and Rilar, if he had been able to, would have sneered. This was the force protecting Queen Lucy, one of the last remaining of the Pevensie line? Two little brats, that stupid girl, and a man. Why, he could run in there and kill her right then and there.. but Rilar wanted to abide his time. If they had something going on, perhaps it would be better for him to listen then rush in hastily.

"There is nothing better Then being with the ones That really matters,"
Lucy blinked away sudden tears as she thought an idea through. She slowly glanced up at Thalia and Rai and hesitated, knowing they probably won't like it. But it was an idea and a thought that were meant to be heard. Or at least said. Her eyes were suddenly bright with tears again. She held them back as long as she could. She didn't want to break down again. The others in the room depended on her to be strong, even the children. Aslan, Lucy thought, please, give me the strength to be strong. The little one couldn't think she could do this on her own. But she had to bring her brother and the others back with the resitiance group. She bit down on her lower lip for several minutes, which was spent in silence. She was carefully choosing her own words. "They....they may be at Jadis's castle" Lucy said slowly, looking between Thalia, Rai, Abigail and David. Her eyes were misty again. But this time they were fulled with less tears than before. "And..." here she paused, not sure on what to say. "I want to go. Alone." there was a note of firmness in her voice. Her eyes sparkled. She keep her mouth shut as she ran her mind through her thoughts. It was very quite inside, minus the occassional sqabling with the children. Neither of them noticed someone hidden in the shadows. And they thought it best that way. For some reason, Lucy felt smaller than she was. There was no way she was going to make sure everyone in the room was protected, but thankfully she had Thalia and Rai to handle her job alongside of her. There was a small frown on Lucy's face as she listened to what Thalia had to say. She just shook her head. "Thats the problem," her voice was rather dry and emotionless. "We don't know where they're at. All three of them could be in Jadis's castle for all we know..." she chocked a bit on the voice. Her eyes were starting to get misty again. "And even if we did have spies, there's no use now. I just want them back..I want everything back before that horrid witch took over. She's not queen, even though...she is," at here Lucy hesitated. What she and the others didn't know was that one of the witch's supporters where outside, listening. A generally worried look passed through Lucy's face. "I can't...." she muttered with a shake of her head. "I can't do it alone. I need them alongside," Lucy was rather frightened. The four Pevensies were usually together whenever they were in action. But now it was only Lucy. Her mouth went dry as she thought of the others being tortured or dead. She started to tremble a little. She needed sometime alone by herself. But she held her tongue at first while they were in there. She slowly turned her head to Rai as Thalia asked the question. She held her breath and waited/[/blockquote] [ooc: posting order: Me, Thall, Rai and Rilly.]

Attention was reverted back to Lucy again, when the young Queen looked up at her and Rai, and then had a look as if she was thinking something through, before her eyes were suddenly rimmed with a substance that was turning all too familiar within these times. Thalia has seen it way too much, and as much as she hated seeing it, she couldn't stop Lucy from crying. But if the girl could help it, she was not at all going to shed tears. Unless she was on the verge of death, she promised herself she wasn't going to cry.
The golden hazel orbs which Thalia had rested upon Lucy, slowly watching the Queen, until she finally spoke.
"I want to go. Alone."
"No." the words were uttered before Thalia could even think about them, but she knew that would ultimately be the answer, no matter how much she thought about it. There was no way in this icy world that Thalia was about to let Lucy venture in to the queen's Fortress alone. Not only would Peter have her head if he ever finds out, it was Thalia's own conscience that held her back. She was fond of Lucy, as much as she would over her own younger sister if she had one, and the girl would rather put herself in line of fire then let Lucy go alone.
"I'm not going to let you go alone Lucy. Not on my life." she stressed, her own hands clenching in to fists subconciously, she turned away from Lucy to look out the window. Brows furrowed as she caught sight of a light shadow outside, but brushed it off as a mere trick of the light, and then turned back to Lucy, her lips set in a determined line, as she listened to Lucy's words.
"We don't know where they're at. All three of them could be in Jadis's castle for all we know... And even if we did have spies, there's no use now. I just want them back..I want everything back before that horrid witch took over."
Taking a deep breathe, the girl went silent, thinking things over for a second, before she opened her hazel orbs again, to speak. "They may be at Jadis's castle. In fact, I have a feeling they are." she paused again, contemplating the multitude of different expressions, words, thoughts that ran through her head, before sorting them out slowly and picking her words carefully. "But even if they are, you're not the one to go in there. Not alone. If at all were someone to go in, it would be Rai, or me at least." Thalia knew, Lucy wanted to save her brother's herself, but as far as she knew, the young Queen had little, to no knowledge of self defense. At least with her blade, Thalia could defend herself, if only to find out if what they feared were true, but if Lucy were to go there alone, she'd be presenting herself to Jadis on a silver platter, and Thalia also knew that Peter would willingly put himself on the block then to let his youngest, most doted on sister to fall in the hands of the heartless Queen.
"I can't do it alone. I need them alongside,"
Walking closer towards Lucy, she took her hand, and then squeezed it tightly, fondly but firmly. "You will have them alongside. I promise you. The least I can do is get them back for you, okay?" her voice was soft, but obviously firm in her decision. It'd be her death day before Thalia let Lucy venture in to that Fortress alone.
Turning back to Rai, she asked again, a hint of urgency in her tone this time. They needed both the Kings, and the Gentle Queen back, and soon. Thats the very least Thalia could think off before anything else. Right now, she felt like she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, but still her shoulders were wound up tight with tension, worry and urgency as she asked. "Any idea on where the three Pevensies are?"

Rai slowley shook his head as Thalia approached him with that question, it wasnt that he didnt want to answer it was more that he couldnt. He had no idea what they were doing, where they were and what they were doing. At this moment in time Rai was at loss "All I know is Peter got captured by the witch...I dont know what happened to Susan and Edmund" he sighed and looked back at his men who were shifting from one foot to another. Turning back to Thalia he pondered his next words "But I do know this, the resistance wont fail ..." he could hear movement outside but he assumed it was the wind "But we should find more people to join us..." he shifted his position and placed his hands on his hips resting his right hand on his hilt as he did so.

R I L A R ;; They were oblivious to him... it was highly amusing to the wolf. Then again, they were humans, and their senses were nothing. He started to tremble with excitement, a set of golden eyes peering over the woods at the group. He listened keenly. Yes yes, your pathetic family is missing... you miss them, whine whine. Are you a queen or a rat, little brat? He thought to Lucy, his lips curling in a satisfied snarl. She was nothing more then a child when it all came down to it, which utterly amused him.
The other one said nothing of use, simply comforting words that would mean nothing to a dead child. Rilar was growing impatient, and he moved forward to attack, but the man spoke, and he hesitated. Resistance? He thought, and held back a barking laugh. Did these puny mortals think they stood a chance? Against the witch of all witches? She who single handedly captured and enslaved their stupid Lion? He shook his head, and decided it was time to make his presence known.
ooc// I am godmoding here. I'm sorry... but Lucy did ask me to hurry it along. So... if anyone has any issues with this next post, let me know, and I'll.. alter it? Lu, I also don't know if he is still taking her?
ic// Rilar sprung forward, as agile and quick as his kind could be, and knocked down the youngest Queen. In an instant, he stood over her neck, his paws sinking into her stomach as his jaws remained just over her neck. "Pleasure to meet you all. I don't think you will ever realize how precious, how valuable you've been to me." He said, addressing the man and girl with a rather satisifed sneer. Then Rilar turned to Lucy. "And... your highness, I've been most keen to meet you." He inched his teeth closer, snapping them once and then looking up.
His attention turned to Rai, and to his sword. "Boy, I suggest you drop that. Unless you want her blood on your hands?" Rilar said, and as if to make his threat good, he continued "Jadis has no particular use for the youngest Queen alive, but maybe something will come out of it. Still... even knowing the brat's dead I may get a reward, so..." He waited with a rather brutal smile on his face. Part of Rilar ached to have Rai lunge for him... he wouldn't mind dying with Lucy's veins in his mouth. For Rilar was a wolf who fought for his Queen and country, like his wolf forefathers. At least he would die with the sweet taste of victory.
On the other hand... who knew how many secrets Peter and Edmund would unleash with their beloved sibling among them? Even Rilar knew Peter's heart leaned towards the youngest Pevensie. Maybe torturing Edmund couldn't make him talk, but he would sing when Lucy screamed. "Blood in the water Dark and red and raw You're nothing until the thrill of the kill Becomes your only law"
Muhahahaaaa. That was a horrible post, especially the last line.... Anywho... :]

As soon as the wolf had entered the home Rai had reached for and unsheathed his sword but when the wolf who he recognized as Rilar addressed him and told him to place the sword down he was torn. Torn between a million things, Behind him his guards were ready to unsheath theirs on his command but he wouldnt give the signal yet.
Instead Rai moved himself towards Thalia and stepped between her and Lucy he knew Rilar didnt want Thalia but he wasnt going to risk it "You dont want to kill her...you need her" he paused and narrowed his eyes at the grey wolf "Dont hurt her" he pleaded as he watched Lucy out of the corner of his eye as he locked eyes with Rilar in a challenging way.

Lucy looked at Thalia as she spoke. She sighed and shook her head. She should have known they would not give in to her that easy. But it couldn't hurt to ask. Lucy growled softly to hersef. This was getting ridicouls. She should be out there trying to find her siblings. But this was her idea and she would let Jadis and those who support her know she won't give in. The sixteen year old looked at Thalia with curious brown eyes as she looked out the window. She shook her head again. Her lips quivered as she heard her next words. "That can take years before we can," she reminded her friend. Thalia was more like another older sister to Lucy. She froze up at the words she didn't want to hear. "They couldn't be in her castle," the statement was weak even in her ears.
She would not and could not believe that they would be in thereb. They were probably out there somewhere trying to find Lucy and everyone. She wasn't the only one who had lost her family after the witch took over Narnia. There were millions of other people looking for their loved ones. It was like being back in England again with the war going on. But she knew the war in England was most likely over by now. She hoped their father was back home. And what if they don't return home? The question made the youngest queen froze again. She knew they had returned home once before. What if theye returned home again, in these troubled times? When all of Narnia needs their help? Even if itis underground resitiance?
She shivered again, this time from the fear instead of the cold. "No," Lucy murmured at Rai's words. Shame instantly spread through her. Peter was in Jadis's castle and Edmund and Susan were who knows where and Lucy was here, acting like a child and not taking charge. No. She can leave that up to Thalia, after all, they were running the resitance group together. She sighed and glanced out the window. She frowned for a minute, slowly standing up as her ears pricked forward. Lucy tensed, her eyes and body on alert. But that was nothing compared to what happened next.
Lucy shrieked as she was knocked over. The next thing she knew was a huge wolf standing on her. Her brown eyes were wide with fear as she glanced up at him. Her head turned slightly to avoid looking at him. She flinched as she felt the paws in her stomach. She struggled, trying with all her might to make him get off her. But it was met with failure. The little Pevensie froze, her eyes wide and her mouth half opened as she stared at his teeth, which were inches from her neck. "I'm...sure you have," she managed to croak. She wriggled again, trying to get away from the huge wolf. But that won't be happening any time soon.
"What...planning to kill me?" Lucy somehow felt braver. Aslan, please give me faith, she pleaded silently. She still held faith that the lion would return and reclaim the land. Almost like he did when the four came to Narnia the first time. She was frightened and her eyes wide with horror. She couldn't get them off of the wolf's teeth. They were sharp and probably very painful. She glanced up at Thalia, looking at her with wide terrified eyes. Lucy wasn't sure what the wolf would do to her. Maybe take her right here and now? Or would he take her to Jadis's? Maybe she'll even see Peter. A small gimmer of hope filled her eyes, but she had to replace it with fear before he notice. [ooc: no not at all Pete. And Ya...I think we can make it so Rilly can take her. And Rai, its Me, Thally, you and Rillar posting in the order]

"But we should find more people to join us..."
Thalia heaved a sigh, and nodded. Of course, a resistence isn't exactly a strong forte if it only had two females, a couple of children and a handful of soldiers with it. "Going out and recruiting isn't exactly the best choice right now though, Rai. The most we can do is sit and wait." the female replied resignedly. She hated doing that, sitting and waiting, but even headstrong Thalia admitted that frankly, it was the only thing they could do right now. Yet that didn't stop her from hating that exact fact though.
It came as a shock, the bundle of gray fur that came hurtling towards Lucy at the next second. Her grip on the Queen's small hand was knocked away, and Thalia stumbled backwards, barely avoiding a fall. By the time she looked up again, her heart did a somersault, stomach jumping to her throat when she saw a lumbering wolf looming over the doted young Queen, the wolf she came to know as Rilar, a form she was sure the Kings and Queens detested with a passion. Thalia felt like cuffing the wolf when he spoke. The girl loved all animals, but instant hatred developed for the wolf before her the moment her hazel eyes caught sight of the sneer, her jaw tightened, hands gripping in to fists as Rilar instead, turned his attention to Lucy.
d**n it! Why did I leave Dawn and my sword belowstaris! The lady cursed inwardly, wanting nothing more then to get her hands on a sword, yet knew better then to move forward. A single flash of pearl whites could mean the death of Lucy, and she would rather be dead then to see the one she was impossibly fond of die before her eyes.
The girl straightened her bent spine when Rai stepped in front of her. Thalia knew he merely wanted to protect those left with the resistence, her and Lucy included, but Rai was a man, and if her interactions with Peter taught her anything, it was that the opposite gender tended to act rather rashly. With that knowledge, she sidestepped Rai, and then stepped foward, just slightly in front of the man, and then pinned the wolf with a sharp, cold, yet determined glance. She hated doing this, but she had no choice. Lucy would fare better with her brothers, that much Thalia knew.
Sending a look to Lucy that clearly said I'm sorry, the girl took a deep breathe, and then spoke. "Take her. Just don't hurt her." she paused again, as if determining how to make sure the wolf wouldn't harm Lucy until they actually got to the Fortress. Once there, she knew Peter would kill just to protect his youngest sister. "You wouldn't hurt her anyway. You know as well as I do, Peter would do anything to make sure she's safe. The witch needs her." she finished up, fists tightening with every word. She didn't want to do this, she really didn't. But she had no choice.
Thalia took a gulp again, when Lucy's terrified eyes met hers, but the elder femme gave a slight, very obsolete nod. Be a lioness Lucy. You can do this. Peter's over at the Fortress. I'll find a way to get all of you out of there, I promise. Thalia thought, and hoped her unspoken message could get through to the young Sovereign. Thalia would find a way to get all of them out there afterwards. She had to. Even if it would cost her life.

When Rilar charged in and landed on Lucy his mind went a mile a moment as he locked eyes on the wolf who was slightly larger than the dumb wolves and every inch of him was evil. He didnt show any fear from the entrance of the wolf to now and he would never show fear in front of the witches minions. He thought of Peters orders and knew he had to obey them and Aslan's words especially now in the thick of danger.
When Thalia stepped in front of him he didnt move, he had no choice as he listened to her words. If Lucy if told to attack he would but not at the risk of the young Queen's life "Dont hurt her Rilar...you wont hurt her...you need her" Rai said quietly and keeping his sword aimed and ready.
He didnt want Lucy to get hurt, Peter would kill him if harm came to his youngest and favourite "Take her if you must just dont harm her..."
