and cherish them in parts of me that savor every kiss
I COULDN'T FACE A LIFE WITHOUT YOUR LIGHT
but all of that was ripped apart when you refused to fight

The time had come to face the end. the witch had been dethroned and soon him and his lot would follow. He would be the hunted, not the hunter as he was known and all he could think of was her. His Mirasia, his silver haired goddess, she would not fall, not like him. He had gathered what few thing he could to survive; his sword, his daggers, his trusty bow and arrows, some food and water. His items were few but they would help on his journey. He only hoped she would meet him in their spot, ear the former Carnadine next to the stone where they had met. It had been their spot since he could remember. Where such a beautiful angel seemed out of place in the midst of monsters...
Reaching the stone he placed a hand on it. He was amazed it still stood the test of time. And when tie was of the essence then something that you had grown accustomed to would be your rock. The cloak on his back was warm, but not so heavy that it would wear him down. He had done this before, run away, but never with such a heavy army o his back. It would be a challenge, but one he would take, anything for both their lives. He wondered if she would protest to his thoughts, if she'd fight him on it. For if she did he didn't know if he'd have the will to send her away. Even if it was for the best...
He leaned against the thing, a small sliver of silver in the night sky began to rise. She would be there soon, at least he hoped, the quicker the parted ways the easier it was for him to think she was safe and the less likely it became that they would get caught. The night was cool, his breathe la before him i mists as he willed himself to calm. He needed to remain strong for them both... The silence of the night became that much more deafening on his ears, right up until he heard very light footsteps coming from the west.
His body did not tense as it should, for he was sure his soul was recognizing it's other half making haste towards him. He could not help the smile that began to form on his tired ad worn face. I his haste he had not worn either the patch nor the rag. It was time she saw him as he truly was, far from perfect... His eye looked on towards the sound as he awaited with slight impatience the presence of the only woma he had ever truly loved...
