[J.A.E. Y.U.][30] Status: (Finished, OC)
The Basics...
Name: Jae Yu
Age: Though he may look only 21 years of age, Jae Yu is aged 30.
Gender: Male
Race: Unknown, old, mysterious race
Occupation: Partner in crime of Hyori
The Look...
Clothing Style:
Jae Yu is a guy that likes to keep things sober. Not too much color and not too much different assets in his clothing. He can go for a Chic sober, or just a simple sober, it all depends on his mood I guess. And on the people he has to manipulate of course. In the twins' many games of playing people, he often has to impress others before being able to get close to them and manipulate them. Hence the variety of clothing.
Many a time he will be seen in suits; most likely either gray, black or white. Other times he can be seen in a simple pair of jeans accompanied by nothing but a white shirt. Perhaps one thing that is really worth mentioning though is that like his sister, Jae Yu enjoys accessories. Whilst his sister finds it in colored assets, Jae Yu likes to find them in material brought to him by nature. For example, he has a necklace made of tiny seashells, or an asset for in his hair made with the feathers of several birds.
He's quite in love with those assets. All in all though, when it comes down to it, there's but one thing that really matters to Jae Yu in clothing: as long as he looks presentable for their next victim, he's OK with it.
Overall Appearance:
As is expected, twins share traits in appearance. Hence why the mysterious duo of mischief makers shares the same dark locks, not quite as long but the same concept. Not quite a dark brown, but not a complete black color either. More like in between those two. His locks are semi-long and are often held in either a messy, wavy look or a very neat, keen manner. The very same dark eyes grace his features as well.
They're colored a dark hazel brown, merely an inch away of being called black and they sparkle and twinkle in amusement whether it is an earnest amusement or a fake one. Another thing they share is their smooth, soft skin. Except for the fact his skin tone is a bit more shaded and darker than that of his sister.
Jae Yu isn't all like his twin though, they differ as well. After all, they are not the same person. Jae Yu is a tall person, hovering over just about anyone. He takes his long figure as an advantage though, for it raises his agility like no other. Jae Yu has a muscled body, though not over-done so yet he sure isn't weak either. Lean, tall and dark is what most people would describe his appearance as, and he has no problems whatsoever with that description.
Markings:
No tattoos and no scars, a perfectly smooth skin. He does however have piercings. Both of his ears of pierced and often have the most original earrings dangling on them. Another thing perhaps that 'marks' Jae Yu is the constant presence of his snake, a male snake named Luken. Luken, who is an inland taipan snake, is colored a deep black, with silverish white lining on his gorgeous back.
In the glistening sun, he often has a blue-ish shade on his long scales. Luken is a beautiful creature, almost none can deny such thing. However, as the set of twins, the snake's appearance is nothing but a facade. For behind the beautiful image lies a most dangerous creature, whose venom is the deadliest one can come across and kills in only the matter of a second when having invaded one's veins.

The Personality...
Personality:
Puppet master. The best word to describe Jae Yu. He is the puppet master, and everyone else in the world, except for family, are his puppets. It wouldn't be dangerous to say that he deems himself, and his sister, greater than just about anyone else. He doesn't care if it's Aslan or Jadis, or anyone else for that matter. Jae Yu and Hyori are the best, they stand the highest and have control over anyone and anything... Or that is his way of interpreting things either way.
There is but one person he really, really, truly cares about and wouldn't ever betray, not for the world: his sister. Sure he cares about parents and family, but not quite as much as his sister and it isn't a given that he would not betray them in a certain given situation. His sister is the only person where he lets his guards down, and can be his own self... Which is surprisingly quite the dorky guy that loves to tease his sister.
Whether it is by teasing her about her height or about the fact she was born exactly five minutes after him, making her the youngest of the two... he'll always find a way to tease her and make her blood boil beneath her skin. However, when it comes down to angering, upsetting, saddening or frightening his sister... he expects that only he can be a reason for either. Anyone that dares do anything to his sister, makes her feel even the slightest bit sad or upset, dares touch her wrongly with but one sister... and Jae Yu is out for murder.
The person will pay, with his blood... or his life... depending on the situation. It shows his more ruthless side perhaps, but it is who he is. Calm like water one moment and ruthless like the wild sea at the next. In front of anyone but his sister, or his parents - and even then - Jae Yu puts up a facade. Ever since birth, he has been gifted with a gift for lying, manipulating and playing things or people. He is a good observer, almost always able to tell just how people and things work with giving them nothing but a mere glance.
He knows what they expect, what they like, and plays it to his advantage. He can become considered as someone's 'best mate' in but one day's time and crush that person the very next. After all, years of practice made him master. Whether you want a charming young guy, a moody and grumpy fellow, a happy chappy or a cold and merciless killer... He will be able to fake it all... without fail.

The Past...
History:
Nearing midnight on a warm July 13th night, two newborn babies were brought into the world. Alive and well, first a boy arrived in a new world which would soon open with the first blinking of his eyes, followed five minutes later by a younger sister. They were the newborns of Yoo Su and Hae Min, on one of the Lone Islands. Twins, one male and one female, named Jae Yu and Hyori.
Inseperable since birth, the twins grew up a fairly well life. There were but a few things that mattered to the eldest of the two, Jae Yu. These things were teasing his sister, his parents, playing, food and his elements. Jae Yu and Hyori are the offpsring of a race so old and long forgotten, barely anyone remembers their name. The mysterious race is distant, liking to keep to themselves during their slow-aging lives. However, this family was different, having settled in the midst of a small town.
During their most innocent of years, when they barely knew what their elements were, was perhaps the one time either of them were bullied. His twin sister, Hyori, happened to run into troubles every and now then, but Jae Yu would always make sure he was around to protect his darling sister. In the mean time, they started discovering their elements and soon enough their parents taught them how to control their elements and how to use it, the mere first steps of the basics, but they taught them nonetheless.
In Jae Yu's case, he was born with control over the elements air and water. One day though, the luck of the twins turned. Their parents simply disappeared, into thin air. They had told the twins to stay put at home, not to go anywhere and had left the house... never to return again. The twins were at the tender age of seven. The mere presence of Hyori remained, and Jae Yu was ever so thankful for having her around. As the eldest, even if by only five minutes, he took the task upon him to take care of her and try to take the job of parenting upon himself, even if he was a mere child himself.
At first though, much to the persuasive influence Hyori had on him, the twins searched for their parents, leaving the house. One would expect the children to be stupid, but instead, they took the horses from their parents' stable and took just about any food and water that was left over in the house before going on their search for their parents. Still not knowing, or more a case of accepting, their parents were dead.
And so started their travel. They traveled for quite some time, a few weeks... perhaps a month until their victuals ran out. No more food, no more water except for what they could fetch on the road. And the little things Jae Yu could find he gave to his sister, determined to have her satisfied. Despite the many protests Hyori gave him to the idea, Jae Yu was persistent and stubborn enough to get her to eat whatever he gave her. Naturally, dehydration and hunger got to the young boy. He remembers talking to his sister before all turned black.
It wasn't until a while later, that his eyes opened once more, opening to the view of an old man hovering over him, calling out to something or someone. That someone being his sister whom soon appeared in front of his vision as well, smiling brightly as ever before. Much to his surprise, she looked healthy... or more healthy than before. The man, who had taken instant pity on the twins, offered for them to stay. Not only feeding them and offering them shelter but teaching them as well.
Reading, writing, etcetera. Many hours were even spent up in the library of the man studying several war antics and strategy, despite Jae Yu's young age. The man was eager to teach them all he knew, perhaps because he knew he had no offspring of his own and his time was fading out, or just because of a reason none can explain. Besides many hours of learning though, Jae Yu spent many more hours outside in the old man's garden, playing with his sister. Though it lasted but a few months, the twins had grown fit and strong once more, they had gained weight and no longer looked like the miserable pair they'd been before.
And just when they thought the fairytale would never end, bad luck struck again. One morning, they found the old man dead in his bed, having taken his last breath of air he ever would. They tried to wake him in several ways, but to no avail. They had to move on again. Once more, they packed, taking a new pair of horses and continued their journey, the search for their parents long forgotten. They knew they were on their own, and they realized they would remain on their own.
A thought, a 'what if' scene, kept on replaying in his head though. What if they had been able to save the old man? He remembered his elements, air and water... and knew all too well what meaning and strength lay behind them. But over the months, he had not even once thought of them, he had left them behind like his sister. But what if? What if the old man had been able to be saved? Jae Yu could have pumped air in his longs, could have sped up the beating of his heart by making the blood run faster...
And so he decided, they needed to learn more about their elements, experiment more. But how dangerous it was, playing with their elements when they couldn't fully control them. Something could go wrong, he remembered how his parents used to warn them about it. Silently though, in the middle of the nights, Jae Yu stayed up late, a sound asleep Hyori resting on his shoulder or in his arms, to try and figure out what it worked like.
And when he finally did, he taught his sister. Together their elements and their control over them grew. Every night, Jae Yu would stay up late, going just a little step further than before, only to teach, help and assist Hyori to control hers during the days. And when every now adn then his logic failed, Hyori came up with the most brilliant ideas, which he instantly tested. Just like before though, they couldn't stop the victuals from running out. That time they were brought to beg by the streets.
Perhaps what is to come next is one of the important events that would change their course of life and turn them in what they are nowadays. A grumpy lady had been selling apples on the streets, known to be harsh, cold and bitter. An idea struck Jae Yu though and after telling his sister what to do, they played the lady, set her to their hands and walked out of the city with two apples each. Somehow, they didn't stop using the method once, nor twice, it continued. And soon enough it became one of their hobbies, one of their needs and one of their wants.
At the age of twelve they came to Narnia Mainland, and ever since they have been wreaking havoc just about anywhere they go.
Family:
Hae Min - Mother Yoo Su - Father Hyori - Twin Sister
Other:
As mentioned, Jae Yu has an inland taipan snake named Luken. The snake constantly accompanies him. Like his sister, Jae Yu controls the elements. Being twins, they share the four elements. Whilst his sister is mistress over fire and earth, Jae Yu receives power over water and air.
Final Outcome: You said old members didn't have to.
