I live in Vancouver.
The 2010 Winter Olympics are here in just a few weeks.
Can you see where I'm going with this?
Pretty much, I'm volunteering, so I'm veeeeeery busy, plus this is my senior year in high school with all those lovely things like scholarship apps and references and universities and ick. Mostly I'm volunteering with the local youth band - we'll be on TV internationally during the opening ceremonies (though not actually AT the ceremonies) so the practices are nuts right now... had two and a half hours after school today, plus my own personal practicing... ACK. Good thing I love my Trombone. Oh, and then my school's Jazz band will be performing at the speed skating oval a few times... and when the torch relay goes past my school... and... there's more... can't remember them all... SO MUCH.
Please kill me before the Olympics do. Oh, and then the Paralympics, because those are important too so we're probably performing there too.

I PLAY TROMBONE TOO! Do you play in the Victoria Days parade? I used to do that every year with my highschool. It was so much fun. (; I'm near Vancouver too though still technically in the US, and we're already getting heavier traffic flow. Supposedly we're going to be overrun by people going to the Olympics so that will be fun. Anyway, have a great time!

Thanks guys!
@peter: TROMBONE PLAYERS UNITE! No, we don't do parades. Sadly. My band teacher hates having to deal with the marching, and he's only there on alternate days, so he's really stressed right now. And the traffic flow >.< ICK! I tried driving to Surrey and just about died.
ONE WEEK TO GO AND THEN I'M DEAD.
Uhm, thought I'd let you know that I'll be twittering throughout the Olympics about where/when I'm performing and what's going on, though nothing of that sort will start until next Thursday. @goddessmcgeek if anyone's into this sort of thing or wants to stalk me xD (I only really got into it yesterday)
I'll see you all in three weeks! C:
